Step 1. Pre-reading 1.Free talk: 2.Talk about the signs T: First let’s talk about some signs on the road. What other signs do you know? S: 展示他们自己做的标识。 T: You know a lot of signs on the road. They are traffic rules. The rules are for drivers, for pedestians. They help keep safe on the road. 3. Show the topic. T: Today’s topic is road safety. Step 2. While-reading 1. Read and catch T:What does “road safety” mean in the storytime? Read quickly and tell me , one minute for you. S:I think it means We should follow the rules and stay safe on the road T:Great, 写板书。 2. Read and think T: How many rules are there in the story? What are they? Read again. S: I think there are 2 rules, they are… I think there are 3 rules, they are… T: I think there are 3 rules, 板书 ①cross the road with a zebra crossing ②cross the road without a zebra crossing ③mustn’t play or run 3. Learn and share T: How can you cross the road safely? Please read carefully. Group 1/2 try know the ways about case1 and finish form1. Group 3/4 try know the ways about case2 and finish form2. Then discuss with your friends and share your work vividly. You can act, read and so on. S: at a zebra crossing, first …… T: Wonderful, if you can see a zebra crossing, first…..then….(完成板书) S: No zebra crossing, you can……. T: Great, if you can’t see a zebra crossing, ……… (通过两组学生的回答,形成信息差,在学生分享的过程中领会不同的知识点,达到事半功倍的效果) 4.Read and write. T: Now let’s follow the computer and read the passage, then finish an exercise. S:read,then write P38. T:Check and do a summary. This is rule1/2/3 5.Retell the story T:Choose one rule to retell, these pictures, words and blackboard writing can help you do well. S: Practice and show T: 评价。 I’m proud of you./ You did a good model. Step 3. Post-reading T: Today we talk about “road safety”, What do you learn? S: How to cross the road safely/ what we mustn’t do on the road. T:Great, let’s think, what’s hot word in the story? S: Safety/safe/safely T:Road safety is very important.
