Step1:Pre-reading
1. Sing a song
T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m your new English teacher. Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Wow, you’re so lovely. Do you like songs?
S: Yes.
T: Let’s sing a finger song, OK? Show me your hands
跟着音乐唱歌
2. learn ”look like”
T:(PPT展示) The little elephants look like their Mum. Right?
The little panda looks like his mum. Can you say more?
3. 引出“Everyone has a mum, but not everyone looks like his mum.”
T: Does everyone look like his mum?
S: No.
T: Who doesn’t look like their mum?
S:孩子思考,可以用中文说
T: Yes, you know a lot. (ppt展示)Look, tadpoles and their mum frog.
Caterpillar and his mum butterfly.
They don’t look like their mum.
T: Everyone has a mum, but not everyone looks like his mum.
S:齐读这句话。
Step2: While-reading
1. 故事导入
T: Today, let’s read a book ”little Zoe looking for Mum”.
T: What can you see on the cover?
S: I can see a bear and a rabbit.
T: Who is Zoe?
S: The rabbit.
T: The little rabbit looking for Mum.
What does Zoe’s mum look like?
S: She has long ears/a short tail/red eyes/four legs……
T:根据学生的回答,写板书。

2. 预测结果
T: In this story, little Zoe can’t find her mum, can she find her rabbit mum? Guess!
S: No.
T: Let’s listen.(播放音频)
S: No. She finds her bear mum.
3. 解读故事
T: Yes, what happened to Zoe?
It’s time to read the story, Try to catch the main idea of it. Read by yourself, come on!
S:读故事

当学生说动物名称时,适时教学单词。
T: You can catch the main idea. Can you read it in nice English?

T: Before she finds her bear mum, is she happy?
S: No, she’s sad.

老师和每一个小组分角色读。从P4开始。

T: Bear helps Zoe. Then, Bear and Zoe help other animals. It’s a warm story. It’s full of love. It tell us helping is happy.
