四、教学过程
Step 1 Free talk and Presentation
1. Greetings
2. Listen to the song
3. Game: Guess “what’s Mike doing?” （事先准备一张Mike在画画的图片）
T: He is drawing pictures. (Show the picture：一张由形状组成的房子)
Look, there are many shapes. (Teach: shape)
４. Teach the shapes: rectangle, square, triangle
T: 指图中长方形: What shape is it? It’s a rectangle.
Your book is a rectangle. (Teach: A: What shape is it? B: It’s a …)
T: 将长方形纸折成正方形It’s a square. What shape is it?
T：将正方形折成三角形It’s a triangle.
Practice in pairs.
５. Teach the shapes: diamond, star, circle
T: How many triangles can you see? 将两个三角形摆成一个菱形 Look, what shape is it?
(Teach: diamond) Practice in pairs.
T: 拿出一张菱形纸将纸剪为星形 边剪边唱: twinkle, twinkle, little star ….
What shape is it? Can you draw a star? Show us how to draw a star.

(可根据学生掌握的情况，增加跟磁带读B部分的训练)

1. Play a game: What’s in my hand?
T: 把一些小物品（各种形状）放入手中，让学生猜What’s in my hand?
猜过后展示物品再问What shape is it?
（可根据学生情况要求他在黑板上画一画：Show us how to draw a …）
再要求全班用手指摆出图形：Show me how to make a …
（可加入“开火车”的环节：A问B： What shape is it? B: It’s a …
B问C: What shape is it? C: It’s …比一比哪组传得又快又好）
