6B Unit2 More exercise (Part A)
教学目标:
1、能正确听、说、读、写单词low,high, far, farther,
slow, early, better
2、能正确听、说、读、写句型Ben runs faster than Jim. Do the boys jump higher than the girls? Does Jim swim slower than David?
3、能正确运用交际用语That’s true. He is not as strong as the other boys
4让学生在小组内自由编对话,给每个学生更多的学习机会。
教学重、难点
比较级的一般疑问句问法,及其回答。
教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1. T: Hello, boys and girls. Do you remember the song in Unit 1? Yes, it’s called I wish I was taller. Let’s sing together.
2. T: Good! In this song, we all wish that we could be taller and stronger, but how? Yes, we should do more exercise. 只有多做运动多锻炼我们才能越来越强壮。Now I have some questions for you. Let’s have a look. 
Q1: Are you good at PE?
Q2: Do you run fast?    Who runs faster than you in your class?
Q3: Do you jump high? Who jumps higher than you in your class?
   T: Now let’s talk about these questions in groups.
   T: OK. You can talk like this in your groups, too.
3T: OK! I think some of you run very fast, some of you jump very high. Here we can answer like this.
A1: Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. (be good at …   擅长于)
A2 &3: Yes, I do./ No, I’m not. 
… runs/ jumps faster/ higher than me in my class. (教句子)
T: Here we know these words.
4T: OK, now let’s go on talking. Now please talk about these questions.
(设计意图:出示几张表示形容词、副词的原形和比较级的单词卡片,并让学生通过跟读、拼读、集体读、自由读等形式初步接触新词,并用“Does/Do ⅩⅩ … .er than ⅩⅩ? Yes, ⅩⅩ does/do. No, … doesn’t. ⅩⅩ … .er than ⅩⅩ.”句型对黑板上的词汇进行提问,同时用身体动作将状态表示出来,这样的设计,让同学们在学习知识的同时,将身体动起来,打破课堂的沉寂,同时也让他们真正了解本课几个形容词、副词的原形和比较级,并能准确表达出来)
Step2: Presentation
1T: Now boys and girls. Look at this boy, please. Who’s he? Do you remember? Yes, he’s Ben’s classmate, Jim. Jim is a boy. Usually, boys
like PE very much. How about Jim? Does he do well in PE? ( do well in …) Let’s listen. (播放课文前言录音)
2. T: OK. Does Jim do well in PE? No, he doesn’t. Now I have some more questions for you. What is he good at?   Is he strong?    Does he want to do better? Let’s listen again.
   T: Well, now please read this short passage. But before that, first read the phrases after me.
3T: Good! Now we know Jim is not happy. Because he thinks he doesn’t do well in PE. What is his problem with his PE? problem ) Jim 在体育方面到底遇到了什么问题呢? Let’s watch the cartoon. (播放2/3课文动画)
4.       T: What’re Jim’s problems? Let’s watch again and this time try to choose the right answers.
5T: OK. Have you got the answer? Now let’s find the right answer together. Jim’s problems are:
He can’t run as fast as Ben and Mike.
His friends swim faster than him.
6. T: OK. Now we know Ben is not good at running and swimming. But he does other things better. Jim’s good at English, Maths.  What else is he good at? And what’s his plan? Listen again and complete the table.
7. T: OK. Some of you have finished.(教jog
8. T: Good. Now suppose you re Jim, can you say something according to this table?
9T: OK. It’s your turn now.
10. T: Now let’s listen and repeat. (教That’s true.
11. T: Please read the text in pairs.
(设计意图:在前面认知准备的基础上,我带领学生看图片问学生Look at Su Hai.Does Su Hai fly the kite very high? 学生回答No.这时教师说Yes. Su Haiflies the kite very low. Does Su Yang fly the kite lower than Su Hai? 学生回答Yes, she does.从而来引出单词“low, lower”的学习,使学生在句型中掌握单词,特别加强单词“low, lower”的认读练习,使学生在已有的认知水平上掌握单词。这样的设计,符合学生的认知规律,突破了难点。)
Step3: Consolidation
T: In this text, we know Jim is not good at PE. But he’s doing better and better. We all should try to do well in PE.
课后反思:
本节课结合每幅图片向学生渗透两个句子:Does/Do ……(原级)?Yes , ……do /does .让学生在具体的情境中正确使用助动词。But ……(比较级) than …… .让学生能借助图画进行比较,从而完整地表达出陈述句,注意有些句子中的第三人称单数,但不是所有的句子都用第三人称单数。这样两个句子的渗透可以为C部分的一般疑问句做好铺垫。 当学生基本都掌握之下。我给学生做了比较级句子的练习,更好的加强和巩固。另外,词组be good at 和do well in 也是本单元的重、难点,在教学时,我让学生联系实际自己造句,并用这对同义词组做同义句转换,注意强调谓语动词的变化及介词后动名词的运用。在一般疑问句中学生都已经搞清楚了在没有动词的时候要用上助动词do 或者是does 。但是在特殊疑问句中又受前面一课的影响,在回答时出现了be 动词和动词同时出现的现象。
