课前思考:
由于本课中需要教授8个名词以及它们的复数形式,如何正确朗读复数名词特别是朗读一般疑问句中句尾的复数名词如何做到语调正确,相信对四年级的学生是个难点。学生已有学习What’s this/ that? It’s a …的经验,本课时中在句尾加上词组in English,学生在理解句意方面应该不会产生问题,教师应重视情景创设,帮助学生正确区分this和that。另外一课时中同时出现特殊疑问句和一般疑问句,对两种句型分别要求用升调和降调朗读,也应在交际中让学生体会模仿。
教学过程:
1.Warm-up(热身)

T: What day is it today? S1: Monday.
T: Do you like Monday? S1:Yes, I do.
T: Me, too.(如果学生回答No, I don’t.就用Who likes Monday?请另外的学生回答)
T: What’s the weather like today? S2:It’s fine/cloudy/rainy.
T: Do you like fine/cloudy/rainy? S2: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T: Me, too.

T:(走到一位学生面前,指着他的铅笔盒)What’s this?
S1: It’s a pencil-case.
T: Do you like this pencil-case?

T:(走到另一个学生面前,指着远处另一人的铅笔盒)What’s that?

S2: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.(同样的方式复习学生已经学过的单词和句型若干遍)

(学生用黑板上的句型随意提问,允许问教室里的任何物品,但要求用手势区分this和that)
【设计思路】一节课的复习和新授阶段不是孤立和割裂的,而应该是有联系、自然衔接的。教师应尽可能从复习旧知入手,在学生原有知识基础上获得新知。如在复习What’s this/that?的基础上教授What’s this/that in English?,过渡就比较自然,学生容易接受。

(期间教师采用多种方式要求学生练习句型What’s this/that in English? It’s a …如师问生答,生问师答,生问生答等通过生问生培养学生的小组合作能力)

【设计思路】本课时学习有关玩具的单词,包括单复数的拼读,并能在真实的情景中正确运用。其中四个四会单词是从三会过渡到四会的,因此要在教学中根据学生的实际情况和差异,留给自主学习和记忆的时间。复数名词的认读和在一般疑问句中的升调是本课的难点,在出示单词时要有意识地把相同发音的词尾放在一起,如puppets ,kites ;cars ,balloons, dolls。本课8个词汇的单复数教学任务已经比较紧张,教师不必再过多强调区分Do you like…?的单复数形式,只要在口语操练时有所涉及即可,将这一难点放在下个课时解决。
3.Practice (趣味操练)

T:(出示课件5调查表)Do you like puppets?(用向上的箭头表示升调)
学生模仿跟读数遍,然后请个别学生回答。
T: Now it’s your turn to ask.
(请学生看所给单词模仿说出句型,教师注意正音,只有语音语调正确才能在表格相应位置打勾,这也是教师为接下来的小组活动所做的示范。)

学生拿出自己的调查统计表,分小组问答,教师巡视指导。

T: Open your book at Page 32. Listen and repeat the new words in Part B.
学生跟录音模仿拼读单词的单数形式。

教师邀请几对学生检查反馈,允许学生选择喜欢的图片对话。
【设计思路】在“信息沟”交际活动Work in groups时,为了增加活动的趣味性,教师可说明先完成表格的一组获胜,也可在学生说话的流利程度上提出要求。这样可以提高小组活动的有效性。
