根据新课程标准倡导的“任务型”教学途径,让学生带着学习新词的任务,运用网络在课件中自主学习昆虫类单词:an ant, a cicada, a cricket, a butterfly, a firefly, a grasshoppers, a bee, a dragonfly。在这一过程中,学生可以根据自己的学习能力自由点击生词,在图文并茂、声形俱备的多媒体电脑的帮助下进行学习。学习能力较强的学生可以少点击几次,少听读几次,减少基本语音与基础知识学习的时间;学习能力较弱的学生则可以通过反复点击、反复听读,掌握基本语音与基础知识,而不必怕在众人面前说错,发不准音。
在本堂课中,教师作为一个引导者的身份出现在学生的面前。在学生初步掌握了这几个昆虫类的单词后,以小组的形式进行反馈,让学生在集体这一大环境中再次巩固所学的单词,教师运用多媒体的交互性和信息量大的特点,设计了do the riddles和make a guess这一环节,让多数学生在轻松的自我学习环境中,跳一跳就够得到,让更多的学生感受到成功的快乐,从而产生更持久的学习热情,为下一步学习短文保持良好的状态。
